Self-Guided Tours
1.You (hereafter referred to as “Lessee”) are required to have a
Motorcycle/Motorbike Driving License and obey Vietnamese Traffic Regulations, including wearing
a motorcycle helmet at all times while on the motorcycle.
2.lthough Flamingo Travel Motorbike (hereafter referred to as “FTM”)
ensures that the motorcycle is in good condition before renting we strongly recommend that the
Lessee thoroughly check the Clutch, brakes, lights, tires, suspension, etc. upon receipt
3.The Lessee is the only person permitted to operate the motorbike
during the lease period and is fully responsible for it. Any damaged or broken or lost parts
must be repaired or replaced by the Lessee with OEM (original equipment manufactuer) parts.
Neither FTM nor its employees are in any way responsible for personal injuries or damage to or
loss of personal belongings or the motorcycle. All insurances are the responsibility of the
Lessee.
4.In the event of an accident or a flat tire and burn out clutch, the
Lessee is responsible for the costs of repair or replacement, labour, lease fee rental days, and
all other relevent expenses until FTM receives the motorcycle in good working condition.
5.If, for any reason, the Lessee is unable to continue or complete the trip, please contact FTM
hotline immediately.
- If the issue is due to a mechanical fault with the rental motorcycle, FTM will cover the full cost of transporting both the rider and the motorcycle.
- If the issue is not related to the motorcycle, the Lessee will be responsible for the cost of returning the motorcycle to the pick-up location started.
- If the issue is due to a mechanical fault with the rental motorcycle, FTM will cover the full cost of transporting both the rider and the motorcycle.
- If the issue is not related to the motorcycle, the Lessee will be responsible for the cost of returning the motorcycle to the pick-up location started.
6.FTM will provide the Lessee with 3/4 helmets. If this helmet is stolen
or damaged during the rental period, Lessee must pay. To ensure transparency, a helmet handover
checklist with photos will be completed when lessee come to check the motorcycle, clearly
documenting helmet condition.
7.FTM responsibilities:
- Reasonable wear and tear on the motorcycle caused by using it as intended
- Mechanical problems NOT resulting from accidents, incorrect use, or unauthorized repairs of the motorcycle.
- At the Lessee’s request and subject to availability, FTM will exchange the rented motorcycle in HaNoi, HoiAn, or HoChiMinh/SaiGon for another, equivalent motorcycle.
- FTM will provide the Lessee with advice on maintaining the motorcycle and information on riding in Vietnam.
- Reasonable wear and tear on the motorcycle caused by using it as intended
- Mechanical problems NOT resulting from accidents, incorrect use, or unauthorized repairs of the motorcycle.
- At the Lessee’s request and subject to availability, FTM will exchange the rented motorcycle in HaNoi, HoiAn, or HoChiMinh/SaiGon for another, equivalent motorcycle.
- FTM will provide the Lessee with advice on maintaining the motorcycle and information on riding in Vietnam.
8.The Lessee is responsible for oil changes every 1.500 km and to oil
the chain every two (2) days. We recommend stopping at Flamingo’s locations when nearby so that
we can change the oil with a high-quality product (FTM pay) and conduct a free safety check.
9.FTM provide Lessee with a high-quality lock to help prevent theft
during the rental period. However, in the unfortunate event that the motorbike is stolen, FTM
cannot take full responsibility for the loss. The Lessee will be financially responsible for
compensating the value of the stolen motorcycle, based on its model and condition at the time of
rental. To ensure transparency, a motorcycle handover checklist with photos will be completed
when Lessee come to check the motorcycle, clearly documenting motorcycle condition.
10.The motorcycle has at least one liter of fuel at the beginning of the
leasing period. The Lessee is responsible for all fuel during the lease period. The motorcycle
shall be returned with one liter of fuel. Any fuel in excess of one liter will not be
reimbursed.
11.If you return the motorcycle earlier than the time agreed in this
contract, we will charge you 30% of the renting fee for the remaining days. If the Lessee wishes
to extend the rental period, Lessee will notify FTM via email at least 48hrs before the return
date in this contract. The renting fee for extra day(s) will be paid when Lessee returns the
motorcycle (same as View List Price, Pls click here)

5.If there is problem or situation that precludes continuing the trip, the Lessee is required to
first contact FTM for assistance. The Lessee will pay to transport the motorcycle back to the
pick-up location started. If there is a problem, our mechanics will identify it. If the problem
is caused by the motorcycle (faulty engine, frame etc.) FTM will responsible for all costs. If
the problem is caused by an accident or negligence, Lessee will pay all associated costs.

The motorcycle shall be returned with one liter of fuel. Any fuel in excess of one liter will
not be reimbursed.
11.The entire renting fee will be paid in advance. If you wish to
lengthen the time of using the motorcycle, please notice us at least 48hrs before the return
date mentioned in this contract. The renting fee for extra day(s) can be paid when you return
the motorcycle following View Travel Retal Price here. There are no partial refunds for
returning the motorcycle early for One-Way Rental.
1.Deposit and Payment by Credit or Debit Card?
- We require a 20% deposit at the time of tour confirmation.
- We accept credit and debit card payments on-line at the local exchange rate
- We are unable to take card payments over the telephone
- Deposits paid by card are subject to 5% bank fee surcharge
2.Paying remaining balance
We will settle the remaining balance when you pick up the motorcycle. We accept payment by cash VND / USD / EUR or credit and debit card are Subject to 4% bank fee surcharge
3.Payment safe
In accordance with the Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 2004, all payments made to Flamingo Travel are held in trust to guard against insolvency. All transactions are safe and secure when you make an on-line payment via Onepay.vn – Paypal
4.Risk and Responsibility
- Your trip participation is entirely at your own risk.
- Flamingo Travel is neither responsible nor liable for any injuries you may suffer.
- Flamingo Travel is NOT responsible for any loss or damage to your personal property, regardless of how such damage may have been caused.
- You must inform your tour guide of any problems with the motorcycle as soon as possible.
- The cost to fix the motorcycle will be on your account if those problems are due to:
- An accident
- Dropping the motorcycle resulting in broken parts or damage to the engine
- Any problem caused by the misuse of the motorcycle; e.g. riding in the water, on the beach, overloading, etc.
- .Flamingo Travel is responsible for:
- Reasonable wear and tear on the motorcycle caused by using the motorcycle in the way it was intended
- Mechanical problems not resulting from accidents, incorrect use or unauthorized repairs of the motorcycle
- Answering any questions you may have during your trip, to the best of our ability
5.Theft
In the event of theft of your motorcycle, Flamingo Travel will cover and replace it as soon as possible with a similar motorcycle and ensure that you are able to continue traveling with the group.
6.Travel/Medical Insurance
It is your responsibility to arrange Travel and or Medical Insurance, if desired.
7.Cancellation
- Flamingo Travel Guided Tours must be canceled in writing to our email address: info@flamingotravel.vn Please include your full name and reservation number.
- If you cancel your trip, you will be entitled to a refund of the deposit as follows:
- More than 44 days before departure: Full refund deposit paid as store credit (minus any bank or transaction fees).
- 31 – 44 days before departure: 50% cancellation fee of deposit paid (minus any bank or transaction fees); the remaining 50% refunded as store credit.
- Within 30 days of departure: No refund deposit paid
- No-shows will NOT receive a refund.
- Flamingo Travel is NOT responsible for your inability to complete a Tour due to any circumstance—whether it be health, family, or environmental.
- Once your Tour begins, we are unable to refund any amount for unused services due to your early departure, late arrival, or missed days.
8.Your responsibility to yourself.?
- We expect you wear a helmet and ride safely at all times.
- It is your responsibility to be individually aware of the prevailing speed limits, road signs, and rules of the road.
If you violate these Terms and Conditions, Flamingo Travel reserves the right to end the tour for you at our discretion and take collection of the motorcycle. In the unlikely event that this happens, you will be responsible for the costs of your own transportation and the separate transportation of the motorcycle to the closest Flamingo Travel office.
Both parties recognized this contract to be legal and binding.

ensures that the motorcycle is in good condition before renting we strongly recommend that the
Lessee thoroughly check the Clutch, brakes, lights, tires, suspension, etc. upon receipt.
4.The Lessee is the only person permitted to operate the motorcycle
during the lease period and is fully responsible for it. Neither the lessee nor any third party
is permited to repair or make any modifactions to the motorcycle; you must always contact FTM to
assist you. In the event of an accident or a flat tire and burn out clutch, the Lessee is
responsible for the costs of repair or replacement, labor, lease fee, rental days, and all other
relevent expenses until FTM receives the motorcycle in good working condition.
5.If the Lessee changes the home address, phone number, or email address, he/she will notify FTM
of the new information within two business days
6.Neither FTM nor its employees are in any way responsible for personal
injuries or damage to or loss of personal belongings or the Motorcycle. All insurance is the
responsibility of the Lessee.

12.If there is problem with the motorcycle Lessee are required to
contact us to assist. Our mechanics will then check thoroughly to identify the problem. If the
problem is caused by the motorcycle itself (faulty engine, frame etc.) FTM will be responsible
for all the repair costs; if it is caused by Lessee, Lessee pay all costs.
13.The entire rental fee will be paid in advance. If the rental is for
more than one month, Lessee is required to pay the next month’s rental fee within three days
after the expiration date. If the Lessee does not pay on time, we have the right to end the
contract and recall our motorcycle. Any expenses incurred in doing this will be paid by the
Lessee
14.If the motorcycle is used over 15 days no refunds. If less than 15
days, your monthly cost will splitted by day ( Please check City View Price List )

- Answering any questions you may have during your trip by phone / message, to the best of our ability

Flamingo Travel provide Lessee with a high-quality lock to help prevent theft during the rental
period. However, in the unfortunate event that the motorbike is stolen, Flamingo Travel cannot
take full responsibility for the loss.
The Lessee will be financially responsible for
compensating the value of the stolen vehicle, based on its model and condition at the time of
rental. To ensure transparency, a vehicle handover checklist with photos will be completed when
lessee come to check the motorbike, clearly documenting motorbike condition.
6. Travel/Medical Insurance
It is your responsibility to arrange Travel and or Medical Insurance, if desired.
7. Cancellation
- Flamingo Travel Self - Guided Tours must be canceled in writing to our email address: info@flamingotravel.vn. Please include your full name and reservation number.
- If you cancel your trip, you will be entitled to a refund of the deposit as follows:
